Session Credits

International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET)
IFMA is an authorized provider of IACET (International Association for Continuing Education and Training) CEUs. Designated educational sessions offered at IFMA’s World Workplace are approved for CEU credit by IACET. Attendees may earn at least 0.1 CEU credits per session. The CEUs awarded are nationally recognized units designed to provide a record of an individual's continuing education accomplishments. One (1) CEU is awarded for each 10 contact hours of instruction.Submit your CEU certificate, along with your letter of request for credit, to your association/organization for approval.

International Facility Management Association (IFMA)
IFMA will award 20 maintenance points to Certified Facility Managers® (CFMs®) who attend IFMA’s World Workplace 2008.

American Institute of Architects (AIA)
IFMA is an American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) Continuing Education Systems Registered Provider. Educational sessions offered at IFMA’s World Workplace 2008 will be approved by AIA to support the continuing education requirements of its members. Attendees earn 1.0 and 1.5 LU credits per 60- and 90-minute sessions, respectively.

All AIA members must provide their member number in order to receive credit. Attendees will be prompted to provide their AIA member number when using the CEU Kiosk. Attendees are asked to provide their AIA number on the World Workplace registration form.

IFMA is a Registered Provider with The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Systems. Credit earned on completion of this event will be reported to CES Records for AIA members by the Provider. Certificates of Completion for non-AIA members are available upon request.

HSW (Health, Safety and Welfare)
Sessions labeled HSW have been evaluated and approved as sessions containing content in subject areas as defined by the various state licensing boards with HSW requirements. (An individual state may not accept all subject areas. Be sure to check your state licensing board's HSW definition and requirements.)

Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC)
Members of design organizations belonging to the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (ASID, IDC, IDEC, IIDA and NKBA) will be pre-approved to receive CEU (Continuing Education Units) credits from IFMA’s World Workplace 2008 on an individual approval basis.

The Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE)
By attending all or part of the conference, Certified Plant Engineers (CPEs) or Certified Plant Maintenance Managers (CPMMs) can earn credits toward recertification. By attending the entire conference, you will earn one (1) full credit. By attending the partial conference or a pre-conference seminar, one-half (0.5) credit will be awarded. Proper paperwork for CEU registration will be returned to you. These CEUs are good for the aforementioned design organizations. State licensing board approval is up to the individual state.
