International Facility Management Association

IFMA is the world’s largest and most widely recognized international association for professional facility managers, supporting more than 20,500 members in 78 countries. The association’s members include 127 chapters and 16 industry councils worldwide. Members manage more than 37 billion square feet of property and annually purchase more than US$100 billion in products and services.
Formed in 1980, IFMA certifies facility managers, conducts research, provides educational programs, recognizes facility management certificate programs and produces World Workplace, the world’s largest facility management conference and exposition.
In Singapore, IFMA is represented by the Singapore Chapter of IFMA.

Building and Construction Authority
The Building and Construction Authority of Singapore champions the development of an excellent built environment in Singapore.
BCA’s mission is to shape a safe, high-quality, sustainable and friendly built environment, as these are the four elements in which BCA has significant influence. In doing so, it aims to differentiate Singapore’s built environment from those of other cities and contribute to a better quality of life for everyone in Singapore. Hence its vision is to have “the best built environment for Singapore, our distinctive global city.”
Together with its education and research arm, the BCA Academy of the Built Environment, BCA works closely with its industrial players to develop skills and expertise that help shape the best built environment in Singapore.
